Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiography Technologist for an assignment in Pottstown, PA. The role requires proven IR radiography experience, independent decision-making, and strong patient-safety focus, with responsibilities spanning exam support, equipment oversight, and collaboration with radiologists.

The position is contract/travel with a 13-week duration, 40 hours per week on 10-hour days.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Meet all local health regulations, and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements including hearing, vision, dexterity and ability to manage stress.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems and PACS-related tools.
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining adequate supplies for patient care.
• Capture relevant exam information at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence.
