Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced Special Procedures Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center. The role requires strong IR experience with neuro and stroke procedures and readiness for travel between campuses.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, preparing rooms and equipment, and providing technical support during complex procedures. Expect 4×10-hour shifts, on-call nights, and collaboration with radiology staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience.
• Experience with neuro and stroke procedures.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Ability to work 4 × 10-hour shifts.
• Night and weekend call readiness.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and the procedural team during IR and special procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and patients for scheduled and emergent cases.
• Provide technical support during complex procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Maintain sterile field and infection-control standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other staff.
• Respond to urgent/emergent cases in Level I Trauma environment.
• Float to the South Campus when staffing requires.
• Document procedures and adhere to policies.
