Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Lynchburg, Virginia. The role offers 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts, and travel benefits.

The candidate must hold a current license in good standing with appropriate certifications; 18 months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience is preferred, ideally in a critical care setting. The agency provides comprehensive benefits and housing options.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operates conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts according to physician specifications and/or orders.
• Assist the physician with various diagnostic and interventional procedures, by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response to procedure, maintaining sterile field, interpreting and evaluating diagnostic data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practices.
• Deliver quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment of excellence, patient focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
