MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. This role requires a current license, appropriate certifications, and 18+ months of interventional experience.

Position involves performing diagnostic and interventional imaging, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting the IR team. Travel compensation includes housing options and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• 18+ months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the IR department and support the IR team.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures.
• Operate radiology equipment to obtain designated images.
• Assist physicians by passing instruments and monitoring during procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment focused on patient care and timely service.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately.
