Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. This role requires performing interventional imaging and assisting IR procedures in a clinical setting with a 40-hour work week and 8-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist IR team in patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures per physician orders.
• Operate radiology equipment to obtain clinically designated images.
• Monitor patient response and maintain sterile field during procedures.
• Assist with instruments, catheters, and data interpretation as directed by the physician.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
