Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiography Technologist for a Burlingame, California assignment. The role involves performing complex radiographic procedures and assisting radiologists in vascular and neuroradiology interventional procedures.

The position is a 13-week travel contract with a 4x10 hour shift schedule. Start date is 11/02/2026 and compensation includes health insurance, 401k matching, licensing reimbursements, and nationwide staffing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Must possess independent decision‑making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Meet all local health regulations and complete a post‑offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements including walking, lifting, bending, and hearing.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems used for radiology workflows.
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams to provide clinical excellence.
