Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a contract in Jersey City, New Jersey. The IR technologist will perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, assist physicians, and maintain sterile technique in a fast-paced IR department.

Travel benefits include private housing or housing allowance, weekly pay, credentialing fee coverage, health insurance options, and 401(k) matching. Start date is 11/30/2026 for a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing required.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials requested.
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department through technical assistance to the IR team.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operate conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images per physician specifications.
• Assist the physician with various diagnostic and interventional procedures, by monitoring and passing instruments, observing patient response, maintaining sterile field.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment that is patient-focused, timely, compassionate, and of high quality.
