Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Jersey City, New Jersey assignment. The role involves 12-hour days, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week duration as a travel position.

Start date and license requirements apply, with benefits and licensing reimbursement. The ideal candidate has proven IR radiography experience, strong patient safety knowledge, and excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Meet all local health regulations, and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements including walking, lifting, bending, stooping, and reading/writing.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems (McKesson RIS, PACS, Kronos, etc.).
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining an adequate level of supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence.
