Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Des Moines, Iowa.

The role requires performing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, supporting the IR team, and ensuring patient safety and record-keeping. This position is a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week, evenings shifts, in Des Moines, Iowa. Various benefits and credentialing support are provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the IR department, supporting the IR team
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures as directed
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain designated body part images
• Assist physician by monitoring, passing instruments, and maintaining sterile field
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines
• Deliver professional, patient-focused care and maintain accurate records
