Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Leonardtown, Maryland. You will work 40 hours per week on 8-hour day shifts in a community IR unit, with on-call requirements and potential 4x10 hour shifts.

The role requires 2+ years IR experience, prior travel, ARRT (R) and ACLS credentials, and MD or compact licensure. Cerner charting experience and Siemens fluoroscopy familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of IR technologist experience within the last 7 years.
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment.
• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) preferred.
• ACLS certification required.
• MD state license or compact license required; license required if applicable.
• Cerner charting experience required.
• Community hospital experience required.
• Proficient in procedures including angioplasty, IVC filter placement/removal, and fluoroscopy; sterile technique

Responsibilities

• Equipment setup and room circulation in IR suite; access site prep and sterile fields.
• Serve as room circulator as needed and maintain sterile technique.
• Operate Siemens fluoroscopy and document in Cerner.
• Follow infection control, PPE protocols, and isolation precautions.
• On-call duties Monday–Friday 4 PM-9 PM and weekends as assigned
