American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience and ARRT (R) certification.

Details

• Interventional Radiology department setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• On-call requirement including some weekends
• Uses Philips Azurion and Siemens equipment platforms
• Uses ultrasound for arterial/venous access
• EPIC charting experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Interventional Radiology
• ARRT (R) certification required, VI credential preferred
• Current BLS required, ACLS preferred
• State licensure required if applicable
• Competent in stroke thrombectomy, embolization, kyphoplasty, fistulagram, arteriogram with intervention, venogram with intervention, dialysis access, venous access, Y90, chest port placement, nephrostomy tube placement, PTC, G-tube placement, and TIPS
• Experience with vascular studies/procedures including angioplasty, carotid stenting, central venous access/port placement, dialysis graft creation/revision and interventions, endovascular interventions, EVAR, TEVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and upper/lower extremity angiography preferred
• EPIC charting experience required

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures using Philips and Siemens equipment platforms
• Utilizes isolation precautions/PPE and sterile technique
• May participate in rapid response/code team activities
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates not accepted within a 50 mile radius of the facility
• Return staff eligible if not previously employed in a permanent role at the facility
• RTO evaluated on a case by case basis

American Traveler Job ID #P-759010. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
