Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Birmingham, Alabama. The position is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts.

Minimum 1+ year IR Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. This contract environment offers opportunities to work in a dynamic imaging setting and deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current certification and registration as an IR Technologist.
• Experience in an imaging setting, with a strong background in interventional radiology procedures.
• Proficiency operating imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital imaging systems.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and ability to assist with a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for interventional radiology procedures.
• Assist physicians during image-guided interventions, ensuring patient comfort and procedural accuracy.
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records in line with facility protocols.
• Provide compassionate support and clear instructions to patients throughout their procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all relevant infection control policies.
