Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wilmington, NC. You will support physicians with imaging guidance, prepare patients and equipment, and ensure safety in a fast-paced IR lab.

The role requires one year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and BLS. Travel benefits and a comprehensive package are provided.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures and ensure safety.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments, maintain a sterile field.
• Monitor vital signs and procedural details; document accordingly.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
