Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Monroe, North Carolina. The candidate will perform complex radiographic procedures and support interventional angiography tasks with strong emphasis on patient safety.

Requirements include proven IR radiographer experience, independent decision-making, excellent communication, and ability to work well with staff and families.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Meet all local health regulations and complete post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements described.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak and related systems.
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining an adequate level of supplies for patient care.
• Ensure that relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence.
