Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer to perform vascular and neuroradiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. The role involves working 40 hours per week across 8-hour shifts in Greensboro, NC, with a 13-week contract and a travel schedule.

Strong independence and precise attention to detail are essential. The position offers travel compensation, health insurance options, and licensing reimbursement, with staffing support across all 50 states

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems (McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak).
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining supplies needed for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams with clinical excellence.
