Job summary

TNAA TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Falls Church, Virginia. The role requires 2 years of acute care Radiology experience, ARRT (R), and BLS certification.

Travel position includes 10-hour daytime shifts, 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend to be determined. The Rad Tech will operate diagnostic imaging equipment, prepare patients for radiologic testing, and ensure accurate image delivery to physicians for interpretation.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of acute care Radiology experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT (R) certification and state licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Follow physician orders for imaging areas.
• Position patients and adjust imaging equipment for proper imaging.
• Minimize radiation exposure with proper shielding and protection.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document in PACS (EPIC/Visage).
