Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a contract in Falls Church, Virginia. The role includes 40 hours/week, 10-hour days, and a 13-week assignment with travel benefits.

Requirements include a current license in good standing and appropriate certifications; 18 months of Special Procedures/IR experience is preferred. Housing options and healthcare benefits are provided through MedPro.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing is required.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials are required.
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department.
• Operate conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images per physician orders.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic/interventional procedures, monitor patient response, maintain sterile field.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver professional, patient-focused care and maintain accurate patient records.
