Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR tech) for a 13‑week travel assignment in Dover, Delaware. The chosen candidate will support interventional procedures, position patients, and operate fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities in a fast‑paced clinical setting.

Requirements include at least 1 year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS. Preferred ACLS and state license are beneficial.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience required.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures and assist with instruments.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and ensure readiness.
• Restock supplies and coordinate with care team.
• Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures.
