Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The IR Tech will perform fluoroscopy, assist physicians in minimally invasive procedures, and monitor and document patient care.

The position requires 1 year of acute care experience, BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) certification, and state licensure if required; vascular interventional cert is preferred. Travel, 40 hours per week, days shift; tax-free stipend details may be provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Must have BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) certification.
• State-specific licensing if required; vascular interventional cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with image-guided procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures; report abnormalities.
• Monitor patient during all procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Understand radiation protection standards and use ionizing devices safely.
