Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a travel Interventional Radiology RN for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, NC. You will work 36 hours weekly on 12-hour day shifts, delivering specialized peri-procedural nursing care and collaborating with radiologists and technologists.

Requirements include 1 year IR RN experience, active RN license, and BLS. Preferred certifications include PALS/ENPC, ACLS, and RCIS/RCES. Competitive benefits are provided with travel support.

Qualifications

One year of IR RN experience required.
Active RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive pre-procedure assessments and review labs.
Educate patients about IR procedures and post-care instructions.
Administer and monitor moderate sedation and patient comfort.
Monitor hemodynamics and oxygenation during procedures.
Assist physicians with procedures and sterile technique.
Provide post-procedure recovery care and discharge education.
Document assessments, meds, and procedural details.
Collaborate with IR team to deliver coordinated care.
Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
