Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment in Decatur, Illinois. The role requires an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and 18 months of IR experience.

Shift is 10 hours for 40 hours per week over 13 weeks, with travel credentials provided. The travel RN will work with a top client facility, with full credentialing support, housing options, and a comprehensive benefits package offered by MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Interventional Radiology setting
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Provide education to patient and family.
• Insert and remove intravenous lines.
• Administer medications including moderate sedation.
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
• Oversee safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring.
