Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina. The position offers 40 hours per week with 10-hour shifts on a 13-week contract at a hospital setting.

The role focuses on interventional radiology care, neuro IR procedures, and radiation safety, with collaboration across the care team. BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and experience in IR or cath labs are required; agency-provided radiation badge and travel support are included.

Qualifications

• BLS; ACLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification.
• 1-2 years of experience; interventional radiology or cath lab experience highly preferred; neuro experience; radiation badge required by agency; MUSC does NOT provide badges to travelers.
• Radius within 60 miles; on-call every 5th weekend and one night per week; will work 4x10 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and professional nursing care in the interventional radiology department.
• Assist during neuro IR procedures and interventions, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures; document accurately in Epic.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and emergency responses.
• Follow facility protocols including radiation safety and on-call procedures.
