Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, including angiography and biopsies. You will complete post-processing, record keeping, and patient care in adherence to established protocols across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

Qualifications include AMA/JRCERT accredited training, no experience required, and ARDMS/ARRT registration with BCLS upon hire.

Qualifications

Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
Required Work Experience: No experience required
Required Licenses and Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) Upon Hire Required and BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies.
Completes all post processing functions.
Performs related record keeping and patient care functions.
Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
