Solomon Page is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a travel job in Wichita, Kansas. This assignment runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week in a 4x10 day shift pattern, offering Interventional Radiology support and patient care in a busy IR suite.

The role requires ARRT certification (IR certification preferred) and strong interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills to assure safety and quality patient imaging in high-pressure situations.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification; IR certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and professionalism.
• Clear and effective communication with patients and clinical team members.
• Quick critical-thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
• Physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods and assist in patient positioning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interventional procedures by preparing patients and equipment.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and well-organized procedure room following facility protocols.
