Job summary

Commercial Stainless, Inc. is seeking a dependable Installation Technician to join our field installation team.

This role involves installing stainless steel equipment, millwork, solid-surface components, and foodservice gear at customer sites across the United States. The ideal candidate will read plans, measure and install precisely, travel frequently, and represent the company with professionalism on every project.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial installation, cabinetry, millwork, metal fabrication, or related trades preferred.
• Must be able to travel frequently and stay overnight as required.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 100 pounds and working in active construction environments.
• Ability to read and interpret project drawings, shop drawings, and field measurements.
• Strong attention to detail to protect finished surfaces and ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Safely install stainless steel equipment, millwork, and related components according to drawings.
• Read and interpret architectural and shop drawings and field measurements.
• Perform field tasks including measuring, leveling, aligning, fastening, trimming, and making adjustments.
• Inspect materials and anticipate issues to maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate with Lead Installer and Project Manager to address site conditions.
• Represent the company professionally with contractors, customers, and facility personnel.
