This is an outstanding opportunity for a PT who enjoys working in a hospital environment while experiencing one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the Pacific Northwest.

Curry Health Network provides healthcare services to communities along Oregon's southern coast, including hospital-based and other medical services.
This assignment offers an opportunity to provide physical therapy services to patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery and other conditions affecting their mobility and functional independence.
As an Inpatient Acute Care Physical Therapist, you'll evaluate and treat hospitalized patients experiencing mobility limitations related to illness, injury, surgery and other medical conditions.
You'll collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, strength, safety and functional independence.
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for hospitalized patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training and functional mobility activities
- Assist patients with bed mobility, transfers and ambulation
- Address strength, balance, endurance and mobility limitations
- Provide postoperative and medically appropriate rehabilitation
- Assess fall risks and implement patient safety strategies
- Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and discharge recommendations
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, OT and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in discharge planning and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Active Oregon Physical Therapist license or applicable PT Compact privilege
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Inpatient acute care or hospital-based experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
