Qualifications

We are seeking a dependable Travel Pharmacy Technician for a contract position at a reputable 150-bed community hospital in Olympia, Washington. This is a great opportunity for technicians with hospital experience who are ready to hit the ground running in a dynamic inpatient environment.

Assignment Details

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Variable day and afternoon shifts
  • Setting: Inpatient hospital pharmacy
  • Technology: EPIC and Pyxis (experience preferred)

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding under supervision
  • Restock and manage automated dispensing cabinets (Pyxis)
  • Answer incoming pharmacy calls and triage appropriately
  • Deliver medications to various hospital units
  • Support pharmacists and other staff in daily operations to ensure timely and accurate medication distribution

Qualifications

  • Active Washington State Pharmacy Technician license required
  • Recent hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems a major plus
  • Experience with sterile compounding is a significant advantage
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
