Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking a licensed pharmacist for our travel program. Work with one recruiter from assignment to assignment, with local and non-local options and a competitive hourly rate plus tax-free stipend where applicable.

License reimbursement is available for new state licensing, and a referral bonus program is offered. You will dispense medications, ensure safety, and collaborate with physicians, nurses and the care team across partner facilities nationwide.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
• Minimum two years inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
• Current, active pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Experience verifying medication orders and dispensing in inpatient settings.
• Ability to travel using available air and ground transportation.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense medication orders; ensure proper handling and storage of drugs.
• Provide information to patients, physicians and nurses about medication therapy.
• Collaborate with medical staff to deliver quality, cost-effective drug therapies.
• Participate in Antibiotic Stewardship Program with a focus on patient safety.
• Provide leadership in the absence of the Director as assigned.
