Qualifications

• BS or PharmD degree from an American College of Pharmacy.
• 1 year hospital pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, process, and validate medication orders and prescriptions accurately
• Monitor and manage patient medication therapy for therapeutic appropriateness and effectiveness
• Maintain departmental policies, quality improvement programs, and documentation compliant with regulatory standards
• Communicate drug information effectively to patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Participate in medication management during medical emergencies and coordinate pharmacy technician activities

• Required Qualifications: Must have a valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, hospital pharmacy experience preferred, Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an American Colleges of Pharmacy, and 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 34.5 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
