Job summary

WorkCare is seeking an Injury Prevention Specialist (IPS) – Travel Rapid Response to deliver onsite injury prevention, ergonomic assessments, and wellness services at client locations across the greater Los Angeles area. The role supports urgent staffing needs, planned coverage, and interim vacancies under a defined SOW, with up to 70% travel.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited healthcare education program
• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field
• Minimum 3 years' professional experience
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Medical license or certification (AT/PT/PTA/OT/COTA)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel up to 70% including overnight

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite injury prevention, ergonomics, wellness services at client sites
• Travel up to 70%, including overnight assignments
• Develop injury prevention and wellness programs
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Collaborate with client operations and WorkCare service lines
• Support rapid response coverage for urgent staffing needs
