Job summary

Helion Group in Texas is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing operation. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support efficient production.

Key duties include inspecting and replacing drive components, performing shaft alignments, maintaining bearings and rotating equipment, and completing electrical rewiring as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and replace worn or misaligned drive components such as chains and sprockets.
• Perform shaft alignments and mechanical adjustments for optimal equipment performance.
• Inspect, lubricate, and maintain bearings, shafts, housings, and rotating parts.
• Adjust motor mounts and complete electrical wiring as needed.
• Use multimeters and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical and control systems.
