Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to lead pharmacy teams across stores, cover scheduling gaps, and support the Pharmacy Manager within a large district. You will travel as needed to ensure staffing and operations run smoothly, while maintaining patient trust and safety.

In addition to dispensing and counseling, you will oversee workflow, immunizations, and coordination with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following workflow procedures.
• Assist with immunizations and clinical care where permissible.
• Maintain inventory with focus on cold chain.
• Provide compassionate patient care and coaching to the pharmacy team.
• Comply with all laws, regulations and CVS policies.
• Support patient access to care and preventive services.
