Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel IMC Telemetry RN in Springfield, IL. The position covers 12-hour night shifts in the Intermediate Care unit of a high-acuity hospital, with 36 hours per week and a 13-week assignment. Licensure in Illinois and strong telemetry skills are required.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in MS/Tele/Cardiac Tele or related areas, plus BLS/ACLS, with Cerner charting experience. Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or Red Cross).
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmias.
• Cerner charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the IMC unit of a Level I trauma hospital.
• Night shifts with 3x12 or 4x12 hour schedules (18:45-07:15).
• Every other weekend required.
• Monitor and manage high-acuity telemetry patients.
• Provide post-cardiac care and ICU-level nursing interventions.
