Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a night-shift RN for a Travel IMC assignment in Albuquerque, NM. You will work a 12-hour night shift in an Intermediate Care unit and float to PCU/med-surg/ICU as needed, with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Qualifications include an active NM license or compact, 1 year RN experience, ACLS/BCLS/NIHSS certifications, and Epic EMR familiarity. Travel perks and per diem benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Active NM or compact RN license at time of consideration.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Experience in intermediate or progressive care units preferred.
• Locals within a 50-mile radius are not eligible.
• Former perm staff must be gone for 1 year to apply as a traveler.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Intermediate Care (IMC) unit.
• Patient populations include medical, neuro, stroke, and respiratory cases.
• Unit staffs 12 beds with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Float required to all PCU units, med surg, and ICU for PCU assignments.
• Work night shifts, typically 4x12 hours (18:30-07:00).
• Weekend and holiday shifts required.
