Responsibilities

• Assess patients on admission and monitor health status in the IMC unit.
• Monitor vital signs, oxygenation, cardiac rhythms and respond to changes.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform complex nursing procedures and manage ventilated patients under supervision.
• Utilize clinical judgment to prioritize care and modify plans with the team.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, plans, and self-care.
• Document assessments and interventions in EMRs and communicate with the care team.
