UPMC Community Medicine Incorporated is hiring a part-time Diagnostic Technologist to assist Tri Rivers Musculoskeletal Centers. The role travels between the Butler and Slippery Rock offices and operates on three 10-hour shifts per week during daylight hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT approved school of completion of program.
• ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist; must obtain registry within 6–12 months of hire date.
• CPR or BLS required; CPR required per AHA standards with didactic and skills component within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patients with two identifiers and follows universal protocol for procedures.
• Administers PO and rectal contrast per physician orders.
• Ensures exams are coded in RIS, archived to ISITE, and charges entered.
• Performs radiography procedures with established protocols and independent judgment.
• Uses imaging equipment to acquire and document image data per protocol.
• Communicates clearly with patients and works well with staff to expedite care.
