Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ICU assignment in Dallas, Texas. This travel RN role requires an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of ICU experience.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on day shifts. MedPro Healthcare Staffing is a Joint Commission-certified agency offering travel opportunities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS certification
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care, education, and family support.
• Ensure life support equipment functions properly (ventilators, feeding tubes).
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for distress.
• Administer medications and insert IVs/catheters as needed.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for rapid changes in condition.
