Job summary

Trinity Health's FirstChoice program seeks experienced Travel Registered Nurses for ICU and related acute care roles across the system. Nurses will float across hospital locations and regions, delivering care with independence and adherence to professional standards.

Qualified applicants bring RN licensure in the applicable state(s) and 2+ years in critical care or related areas, with required certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS). Premium pay and flexible scheduling are highlighted in this program.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable state(s).
• 18+ months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• 2+ years experience for Critical Care, Surgical, Maternal, ED, Behavioral Health.
• Credentials per specialty (ACLS, TNCC, etc); BLS/ACLS/PALS via American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout hospital and/or regions as needed.
• Apply the standard nursing process: Assess, Identify outcomes, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within license and scope of practice.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality and improvement.
• Adapt to new responsibilities and diverse settings.
• Respect cultural differences while managing priorities.
