Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Gallatin, Tennessee. This travel position requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and is aimed at RNs with 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.

As an ICU Travel Nurse, you will evaluate and monitor patients, document care, implement physician-directed plans, educate families, and collaborate with the care team. ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications and additional qualifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold ACLS and BLS certifications.
• 1.5 years of acute care experience preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in ICU.
• Document and provide physician-directed care.
• Assess and implement patient care plans.
• Delegate tasks to other care providers.
• Educate and support patient families.
