Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU travel nurse to support Bristol, Tennessee in an intensive care unit assignment. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS credentials, and travel status for a 13‑week engagement with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour days.

The ICU RN will assess patients, administer medications, interpret diagnostic tests, and coordinate with physicians and families. The position includes hazard exposure and lifting requirements consistent with ICU care.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required.
• NIH and additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting.
• Document and provide physician-directed care and implement patient care plans.
• Educate and support patient families, possibly for long-term care needs.
• Maintain and interpret diagnostic tests and monitor monitoring equipment.
