Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a travel assignment in Richmond, Virginia. The role requires at least one year of ICU experience, active VA/compact license, and compatible arrhythmia skills.

Orientation includes an advanced arrhythmia exam, with travel reimbursements and day-one benefits. The position is in a 20-bed ICU for adults and neuro ICU patients, with 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Active VA or compact RN license required.
• At least one year of ICU RN experience necessary.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Must pass an advanced arrhythmia (EKG) exam during orientation.
• Copy of nursing diploma or transcript required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult and neuro ICU patients in a 20-bed unit.
• Manage sepsis cases and high-acuity patients.
• Provide hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
• Administer medications, vasopressors, and drips as needed.
• Serve as primary care coordinator and assist with orientation.
