Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ICU in Merced, California. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and night shifts. Start date is 11/09/2026, and the role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS certification
• 18 months of recent ICU experience in Acute Care ICU
• Other client facility requirements to be determined

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support to patients and families
• Manage life-support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for distress
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed
• Document medication administration meticulously
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for changes in patient condition
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively
