Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an ICU travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Odessa, Texas. This RN role requires 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, 12-hour night shifts, and 36 hours per week with travel compensation.

As an ICU RN, you will monitor critically ill patients, administer medications, order tests, and coordinate with families. ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIH certifications are preferred; relocation and benefits are provided by TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIH certifications required.
• 1-2 years of ICU/acute care experience preferred for travel assignments.
• Commitment to travel nursing assignments and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care for ICU patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab work; interpret results.
