Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN to join the ICU team in Madison, Wisconsin for a 13-week assignment. This night-shift position offers 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts in a high-acuity ICU environment.

The ICU RN will provide critical care, monitor patients, administer meds, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure patient safety while enjoying competitive pay and benefits.

Formación

• One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
• Preferred CCRN certification
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications may be required or preferred for this position

Responsabilidades

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer complex medications and treatments per ICU protocols
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU settings
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses accurately
• Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring and interpret results
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Provide education to patients and families about ICU care and recovery
• Maintain infection control and adhere to regulatory standards
• Support quality improvement initiatives in the ICU
