As an ICU Travel Nurse you will provide direct patient care, document, coordinate with physicians, educate families, and support long-term care planning. TotalMed is a leading staffing agency in travel nursing.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• ICU RN with appropriate licensure and certifications (BLS, ACLS) preferred.
• Travel nursing assignments require flexibility and good bedside manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU bedside care and monitor critically ill patients.
• Administer and document medications; report adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests; interpret lab results.
• Monitor equipment and adjust settings; document patient status.
• Explain care plans to families and coordinate with the care team.
