Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The role requires 2+ years of current ICU experience and an active OH or compact RN license, with 12-hour night shifts on a 13-week contract.

You will work in a Surgical ICU/Oncology setting, with Epic EMR, and be eligible for a comprehensive travel package including housing stipends and benefits. Start date Oct 19, 2026.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of current ICU experience required.
• Active OH or compact RN license at hand at time of consideration.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager/director or supervisor; coworker references not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to surgical and oncology ICU patients.
• Perform EVD management, ICP monitoring, Massive Transfusion Protocol, mechanical ventilation, CRRT, and vasopressor titration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
