Job summary

SnapCare in Covina, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the TCU/DOU on a travel assignment. The role supports critically ill surgical and cardiac patients in a fast-paced ICU, requiring advanced clinical skills and quick decision-making.

The position is 36 hours per week, night shift 1900-0730, 13-week assignment with a $1,500 stipend plus pay rates of $55/hour local or $26/hour travel. CA RN license and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current BLS/ACLS certifications (AHA Required).
• Current CA RN license.
• 1+ year ICU/critical care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care Management: The DOU/ICU RN assumes full responsibility for a group of critically ill patients during their shift.
• Critical Care Delivery: Provide specialized care in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit for complex conditions.
• Collaboration: Work with physicians, respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Family Education: Educate patients and families on care plans and post-ICU steps.
• Monitoring and Adjustment: Use monitoring equipment to assess and adjust care plans.
