Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a travel nurse RN for ICU - Intensive Care Unit in Tyler, Texas. This 13‑week assignment requires 36 hours per week with nights (12‑hour shifts) and travel nursing employment.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of recent ICU experience in an acute care setting. Start date 11/03/2026.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for adult ICU patients.
• Operate and monitor life-support equipment.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to deteriorating conditions.
• Administer medications, IVs, and catheterize as needed.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of care and treatments.
• Assist with emergency nursing procedures as needed.
• Perform CPR accurately and promptly.
