Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Carroll, IA. The nurse will provide comprehensive critical care in a high-acuity ICU setting, working nights and 36 hours per week, with supportive clinical teams and competitive pay.

The role requires at least one year of ICU experience, current RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred CCRN, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications enhance eligibility.

Qualifications

• One year of ICU RN experience required.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications may be required.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to changes.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per approved critical care techniques.
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments.
• Document assessments and interventions in the medical record for continuity of care.
