Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift in Topeka, Kansas. You will care for cardiac and post-surgical ICU patients, manage ventilated patients, and handle multiple drip titrations in a Surgical ICU setting.

This traveling role requires BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; KS RN license; 2+ years ICU experience; ability to work nights and every other weekend; epic charting preferred. Travel allowances and stipends are outlined in the posting.

Qualifications

• Active KS or Compact RN license at time of consideration.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; CPI and TNCC preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including 1 year ICU within past 2–3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to cardiac and post-surgical ICU patients, including management of complex drip titrations and ventilator support.
• Maintain patient safety and quality of care in a high-acuity environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adhere to facility protocols.
